We’ll look at several examples and together we’ll analyze the building blocks of voice to deconstruct and define a topic that can often feel ephemeral.Tips for creating a character voice that complements the perspective of your piece
We’ll do some fun brainstorming exercises to help you pair the perspective of your piece with the right voice. How to make sure your piece has a consistent voice throughout
I’ll walk you through some “before and afters” showing how I edit my pieces for character voice. Then we’ll do some editing exercises together that are designed to help you identify the big and small changes that can make your piece standout.
